Letitia had gone to collect sticks from the forest when she heard a loud noise. She looked around and saw smoke. She crept up to see what it was and saw a large dragon. It was crying; big tears were falling down its cheeks. “What happened?” asked Letitia. The dragon held out its paw and Letitia saw a huge thorn sticking out of it. “Shall I remove it?” she asked. The dragon nodded and she quickly removed it. Then she tore a strip from her clothes and tied up the wound. The next day, when Letitia went to the forest, the dragon was waiting for her holding a flower. “Thank you!” she smiled, and reaching up, gave him a hug. The dragon changed into a handsome prince! “Thanks to you for breaking the spell!” he said. I am Prince Lewis!” And that’s how Letitia met and married her wonderful prince!
