David soon met his dear friend Jonathan, and asked him why his father wanted to get him killed, when he was loyal to the King. Even Jonathan was surprised and asked him to hide there, until he spoke to his father and came back with his servant to give him the signal of the situation. As per the plan, if David heard Jonathan saying the bow was near you, then everything was fine. However if he said that you had to go further, then you had to run for your life. Jonathan spoke to his father and found out that he wanted to kill David and nothing could stop him at all. Thus, he ran to tell David about the same. Also, he asked him to be loyal towards him and his family once he became the King. David left the place with a heavy heart.
