Soon Saul became too strong and quite famous. However, he was still following the instructions given by Samuel on behalf of God. As days passed by, Saul felt the urge to do the things in his own way, as he was now quite confident about himself. Samuel had asked him not to indulge in war, until he got the instructions from God. He was asked to wait until Samuel would come back. Days passed by and there was no sign of Samuel. Saul found it quite tough to hold back his eagerness to fight back. Soon Samuel came back with God’s message and told him that after him his son would not rule Israel. God would find someone who was obedient and fit for this job.
