Tooter

Tooter was a large goose on Farmer Weber’s farm. When Farmer Weber installed a new horn on his farm van, Tooter fell in love with it. “It sounds just like me!” he declared to the farm animals, “Just listen to it!” The farm creatures were all fed up of Tooter honking loudly all over the place. Now there was a horn too! What a nuisance! And Tooter would spend the whole morning or afternoon honking and blowing the horn. It was such a dreadful racket. Bo, the rooster, decided to do something about it. “After all, my voice is the one that wakes everyone up!” he said, “This fellow is a disturbance.” Bo pecked at the horn till it had a hole in it. Now, it only made a fizzing noise! Poor Farmer Weber could never find out why the horn always had a hole or why Tooter sat near it, looking so sad!
