Usually, the sun bear’s fur is jet-black, short and sleek with some under-wool and some individual sun bears are reddish or grey. It does not hibernate. They are omnivores, feeding primarily on termites, ants, beetle, larvae, fruits, figs and honey. Unlike bears, they do not hibernate, due to the warm weather.
