It has a dusky grey colour with a number of folds in the skin, giving the appearance of armour plating and the male has a single horn of up to about 10 inches. They measure between 6.6 to 13.1 feet and can weigh between 900-2300 kg They feed on grass and other plant species, and can live for up to 40 years in the wild.
