Zoraida’s Curse

Once, there lived a strange old witch named Zoraida who had a bad temper. One day, Zoraida was on her way to the fair. All the people of the village were busy and none paid Zoraida any attention. This made her angry. “I curse you! May your crops fail!” she screamed, waving her wand in the air. The villagers apologised to Zoraida and asked her to take back the curse. But, Zoraida walked away in a huff. After a while, the villagers’ crops started to wither and die. The upset villagers went to the old wizard Henry to ask for help. “Do not worry,” said wizard Henry, “Whatever you do to others, comes back to you.” A few days later, Zoraida’s crops started drying up. Wizard Henry had put a spell on her crops. The witch realised that all this had happened because of her own curse. She felt sorry and took back her curse.
