Every man has been blessed by a mind, and it is this unique mind of human beings which differentiates them from animals. It is this mind which is responsible for success in man’s lives. Mind is the source and storage house of innumerable thoughts.
Will or thought differentiates one person from the other. What we are is the result of the accumulation of our previous thoughts. If somebody is a scientist, it means his mind was always treading the path which was necessary to become a scientist. It is natural, when we need something badly; we try our best to get it. Sometimes people succeed in their efforts while sometimes they fail. But it is the will which reminds us to resume the path to attain success. Once the people achieve their aim, they forget the struggle and pain endured to achieve the aim.
Optimistic persons often get success in their mission. They always consider obstacles as opportunities to reveal their mental and physical strength. One can get glimpse of real strength of will in a sparrow which builds its nest by bringing dried straw & leaves to protect its children. Will power is the harbinger of courage and energy in a man.
Man is the builder of his destiny. Impossible is the vocabulary of cowardice. Will should always be backed by hard work, patience, enthusiasm, positive attitude and optimistic outlook.
Eklavya’s example from the story of epic Mahabharata is worth mentioning. Even when he was not accepted by his teacher, he did not become disheartened. He built an statue of his master and started practising archery. Later he became one of the best archers of his times. Always remember ‘fortune favours the brave. There is no task which cannot be accomplished by a man.
