Any act that harms an innocent person is a sin. A sin is an act done against the will of God. It is a sin to kill a person, who never hurt anyone. It is a sin to steal, to lie, to trouble, to fight and to torture those people, who are innocent and kind.
To offend others is a sin, but any act done to defend oneself is not a sin. For example, a vagabond tries to snatch away the gold chain of a lady, but the lady is brave, she catches him and hand him over to the police. Here the lady has not offended anyone. She has only defended herself from the vagabond. Therefore the lady has done no sin, but the vagabond is a sinner, as he tried to harm the lady by snatching away her gold chain. Any person who offends others by wrong acts is a sinner. Thus, don’t commit sins in your life, as severe punishments are given to the sinners.
