Sheikh was gifted a shining silver coin and a watch, once. When he returned to his village, all he did was to gaze lovingly at his watch and tell everybody the time. His mind was in a whirl, thinking about how the watch gave the ‘tick-tick’ sound. He thought maybe the watch was having hiccups, or maybe a goblin was roaming inside, or someone was knocking from inside. His mind would not rest. One day, tragedy befell Sheikh. His watch stopped ticking! Was his dear watch dead? ‘It wasn’t even sick. How could it die?’ he thought. Villagers came to console him on the death of his watch. He announced that anybody who would make his dead watch tick again, would be rewarded one silver coin. A boy working in a watch shop came to try and revive the watch. He opened it from the back and the surprised crowd saw a dead fly inside. Sheikh exclaimed, “Oh no! The driver of the watch is dead!”
