During the holidays, Benny visited his grandparents who lived in the country. Benny loved his grandparents. So he always looked forward to being with them, even if it was for a short time. Grandma pampered Benny with delicious cakes and other foods, while Grandpa took Benny for bicycle rides. After dinner every night, Benny saw Grandpa washing his socks and hanging them on the clothesline. One day, Benny offered to help Grandpa with his washing chore. Grandpa let him do it, even though Benny was just four years old. Benny gladly washed Grandpa’s socks and did so with a lot of care. Initially, Benny could not wash the socks properly, but Grandpa taught him how to do it. And slowly, Benny learnt. He was filled with enthusiasm. Grandpa made Benny realise that he was capable of helping people.
