Self confidence means remaining firm on path of duty, whereas pride is just the opposite. Of all the frailties of mankind, one most abhorred by almighty is the vice of arrogant conduct. God lies at the core of all manifestation material as well as non-material. If we compare whole lot of universe with His endless compassion, man would appear to be a nonentity all together. What use then this false sense of pride and one-up-manship?
