A bright new weathercock had been put on the top of the castle tower. Prince Edwin liked it so much that he decided to reach the weathercock! So one morning, there was a rumpus in the palace because Prince Edwin was missing! His nanny, the governess, his masters, the attendants, the soldiers, the kitchen maids and the cook, the stable hands, the king and the queen were all running around, searching for him! Suddenly, a shout was heard outside, “There he is!” Everyone rushed out and looked at the roof of the tower. And there was Prince Edwin crawling up! The queen started to weep and had hysterics! Nanny fainted! The governess screamed! Someone called the fire brigade. The fire engine arrived, clanging its bell. A snorkel went up and Prince Edwin was brought down and spanked! He was given a separate weathercock! But he never climbed up the tower again.
