Percy was a very lazy boy. He kept on postponing things. He never finished his work on time. His teachers always tried explaining him the value of time. His father, too, called him once to tell him about the importance and value of time and why it was important to do all jobs on time. Percy, on his part, promised he would never postpone things. One day, he was informed that he had won the first prize in a singing competition that he had participated. He was asked to collect his prize the same day. But Percy did not give it much importance and went to get his prize after a few days. But the prize was a ticket to a circus show that was held the previous day. It was of no use to him now! Percy repented and recalled what his teachers and his father had told him. He realised the importance of time now.
