Sheikh Chilli, who was appointed as a constable in Bhoot Nagar police station, once had a fight with a local merchant named Rehman. Under the guidance of Lallan, Sheikh planned to get Rehman punished by the king. So, Sheikh and Lallan cut a sandalwood tree present in the backyard of the king’s court and threw the wood logs in Rehman’s courtyard. Then they called the soldiers and got Rehman arrested. Sheikh and Lallan felt that their mission was accomplished. But they were not aware that the tree they had cut was the house of a ghost. The ghost started haunting and bothering Sheikh. When Sheikh attended the king’s court while Rehman was getting punished, the ghost started tickling him continuously. Sheikh started laughing loudly when Rehman’s punishment was being announced. So, instead of punishing Rehman, the king punished Sheikh for disrespecting the royal court.
