Prince Ferdinand wanted to show the king that he was capable of doing things on his own. He set off to achieve success, but he was not very sure what he would do. He found himself at a farm finally. He didn’t know anything about farms. The farmer, his wife and his beautiful daughter taught him how to plough, plant and harvest. He learnt to groom horses, milk cows, feed chicken and even manage the sheep! They didn’t know he was a prince; they just knew he was Freddy! One day, the king’s soldiers came looking for him. The farmer came to know then who Freddy really was! The farmer and his family were terrified that they would be punished for having made Freddy work as a farm hand! But Prince Ferdinand had learnt all about a farmer’s tough life and he loved his daughter too. He married her and they lived happily.
