Agriculture is the life-line of our country and the farmers are the backbone of it. The condition of Indian farmer is very bad. He is always under debts. He lives in debts and dies in debts. They commit suicide to get rid of the debt. Government must take measures to improve his condition. The following steps should be taken to improve his condition.
1. The farmer lives in dirty areas. He does not have proper sanitation facilities. Toilets and bathrooms should be built for the convenience of the farmers.
2. Proper drainage system should be made available in the rural areas where the farmers live generally.
3. The poor farmers should be given free seeds to produce harvest.
4. The farmers should be given long term loans, so that they could get relief from the miseries of life.
5. The Indian farmers should be distributed land free of cost, so that they could produce rich harvests for the good of themselves and their country.
