A fox and a wild boar were fast friends. They lived together. One day, the fox said to the boar, “Man is much stronger and superior than us.” But the boar disagreed and said, “No, I am stronger than man.” The fox challenged him to prove this. He would have to face a duel with man. The next day, they saw a hunter with a gun and a sword. The boar suddenly jumped upon the hunter. At first the hunter got frightened, then he managed himself and became ready to attack the boar.
Then the hunter attacked the boar. The boastful boar made all attempts to fight the man. Then the hunter fired another shot at the boar. The boar grunted and tried to grab the hunter from below. This time, the hunter stabbed the boar with his sword. The wounded boar returned to the fox, in great pain. The fox said, “You boasted too much and because of that you are suffering.”
