Tommy was known as the naughtiest boy in school. He often hit or pinched other boys, pulled little girls’ ponytails or poured water on their books. He was bossy and bullied everyone who tried to stop him. Fed up of his naughty ways, his classmates started avoiding him. One day, Tommy forgot his pencil box at home. “Hey Suzy, will you lend me a pencil?” he asked a girl sitting next to him. But Suzy made a face at him and continued writing. Tommy had teased her for being fat. Another day, Tommy was running a race and fell down before finishing the race. None of his classmates helped him get up. Instead, they laughed at him. It was then that Tommy realised his mistake and stopped troubling his classmates. Soon, his classmates started playing with him again. But Tommy never forgot the lesson he had learnt. He became a kind and helpful boy.
