One day, a crow lost one of his favourite and most precious coins. He approached the hare and the mouse for help. The mouse and the hare were the best detectives in the forest. The mouse was cleverer than the hare. The clever mouse, after a lot of thought, took the crow to the tunnels under the forest. There they met Mr. Mole. The mouse kept looking for the missing coin but out of shyness, did not tell Mr. Mole the reason for their visit to the tunnels. The hare was not much shy. He was also a smart detective. So when he reached the tunnels, he told Mr. Mole what he was looking for. The mole said, “Oh! I found that coin; it was lying near the river.” He then gave the hare the missing coin. The crow was very happy to find the coin. He rewarded the hare for his success. The mouse learnt a lesson, too. Shyness can undo your good work.
