Once, a girl named Melody lived in a village. One day, she went to the village fair with her friends. At the fair, she spotted a beautiful pink pencil with black dots. When she asked to buy it, the shopkeeper said, “The pencil has magical powers. Use it only for fun and not for your work.” Melody nodded happily. She went back home and held the pencil over a drawing sheet and said, “Draw!” It drew lovely scenery! Melody took the magic pencil to school. Then, she told the pencil to write what the teacher said. It did not move. She had to write it herself. Melody went back to the shopkeeper and said, “I don’t want this pencil. It does not do my school work.” “You must do your class work yourself. Use the pencil to learn drawing. Have fun with it.” Melody understood and had fun copying the beautiful drawings that the pencil made.
