Josh noticed his father talking softly to himself before going to bed. “Dad, what are you saying to yourself?” he asked. “I was putting a thought in my heart,” his dad said. Josh was curious and asked, “What do you mean?” “My friend at work let me down today. I am so upset that I don’t know how to behave with him tomorrow. So I will put a thought in my heart and will go to sleep. In the morning, my heart will tell me what to do,” said his dad. “And how does your heart know what to do?” asked Josh. “The heart knows everything, my son. While looking for an answer to a difficult question, when something is not clear, put a positive thought in your heart before going to bed. And the next morning, the answer will be there for you. Just do it with faith,” said his dad. Josh followed his dad’s advice all his life.
