Once upon a time, there was a poor flower-seller. He lived with his son. One day, the flower-seller fell ill. Now, it was Christmas time. The son wanted to celebrate Christmas with his father. However, his father was very ill and there was no money at home. Thus, the son went to his garden and plucked some flowers. Then, he went to the market and cried out loudly, “Come and buy my wonderful flowers.” The boy kept shouting but sadly no one came to buy the flowers. Suddenly, a lady stopped by him. She saw his flowers and bought all of them. Then she said, “You are a good son! I am December, the Queen of Good Cheer. I bless you that you will grow up to be a kind and happy man!” Then, she went away. The happy son ran home to celebrate Christmas with his father.
