Jake, a young boy, had a bad habit of stealing sweets from shops. Every shop-keeper in his village was fed up of him. One day, Jake went on a picnic with his friends to the edge of his village. He saw a little run-down shop far away and ran towards it. Jake entered the shop and looked around. There was no shop-keeper. Delighted, Jake grabbed a handful of sweets from a jar. But he couldn’t get his hands out of the jar! Jake tried again, but just then a green hand grasped his arm. Jake looked back and was horrified. An ugly goblin with scary eyes stared at him. Two long tusks jutted out from either side of his nose and two pointed teeth bit Jake’s arm. Jake threw off the jar and ran off in terror. Since that day, two bite marks on his arm reminded Jake never to steal sweets.
