A long time ago, there lived a princess named Rebecca who was never happy. The king ensured she got the best of everything, but she remained dissatisfied. Once, Rebecca said, “I want a blue diamond as big as my fist.” The king sent all his men and one of them came back with a huge blue diamond. As usual, not satisfied, Rebecca kept it on her side table. In this diamond, there lived a wicked genie. At night, the genie would trouble Rebecca by pulling away her sheets, opening the windows to let in cold air, pulling at her hair and swaying her like a pendulum. The poor Rebecca felt that this trouble was caused because of the blue diamond. She took the diamond and threw it outside the window. Rebecca had a good sleep that night and realised that she should be happy and content with whatever she had.
