David was very excited. He and his father were going fishing. “Daddy, if I catch a lot of fish today, then, tomorrow, everyone in the class will call me ‘Braveheart’!” he said, as he hopped on one leg, and then on the other, alongside Daddy. “But what will you do with so many fish you catch, David?” asked Daddy. David stopped walking for a moment. Then, he said thoughtfully, “I don’t know!” “Well, you should think about that,” Daddy continued. David caught a lot of fish and he put them in a big bucket of water. By early afternoon, he was tired and ready to go back. Just before leaving, he looked at the fish in the bucket and the big lake. Without pausing, he threw all the fish back in the lake. “Daddy, those fish will miss their Mommy and Daddy, just like I am missing Mom right now! Let’s go back home quickly, Daddy.” Since then, David never made bets that could hurt someone.
