Long ago, there lived some evil dwarfs in a faraway forest. An old man who could barely see, hear or move, also lived in this forest. The dwarfs never respected the man and always played pranks on him. The man was fragile, so he never put up a fight against the dwarfs. A magician saw what the dwarfs were doing to the old man. He decided to teach them a lesson. He cast a magical spell on the dwarfs. Whenever they insulted the old man, the insults affected the dwarfs themselves. In fact, the insults made the man better. Gradually, the dwarfs turned old, ugly, foolish and clumsy, without even realising it. Finally, when they saw themselves, the dwarfs were horrified to see how old and clumsy they had turned into! The dwarfs who were busy troubling the old man constantly, failed to notice that their own mean behaviour had turned them into ugly creatures themselves. And when realisation finally dawned on them, it was too late.
