Zita loved to play with dolls. One day, she couldn’t find her doll anywhere. She walked into the kitchen and asked her mother, “Have you seen my doll?” “Zita, don’t tell me you’ve lost it again. You are quite careless,” said her mother. Then Zita asked her grandmother about it. “Sit quietly. Retrace your steps and you shall find it,” said her grandmother. Zita sat for a while and thought hard. ‘Yesterday I was playing with it at the dining table, but Mother said it’s bad manners,’ she thought to herself. Then she thought some more. “I finished lunch and went to my room. We had a tea party!” she exclaimed. Zita ran to her room and found her doll, seated at a table, just as she had left her the day before. She grabbed her doll and said, “There, I found you! I shall never be careless again.”
