Once, there was an octopus. He was very calm and shy. He was too self-conscious. He didn’t have many friends. One afternoon, while the octopus was trying to catch an oyster, he unknowingly tied his tentacles into a big knot. He couldn’t even move himself and his tentacles started to pain. Many fish saw him in a problem but didn’t come for help. After some time, a little fish saw the octopus and helped him to untie his tentacles. Finally, the octopus was set free. He thanked the little fish and swam off. At night, the octopus thought that he missed the opportunity to make friends with the kind little fish. One afternoon, when the octopus was lying on the rocks and taking rest, he saw that everyone was hurriedly swimming past and crying for help. He saw a huge fish coming over to feed in that area. He quickly hid himself behind the rocks.

After a moment, he peeped out and saw that the huge fish was chasing the kind little fish. She was crying for help but nobody came as the huge fish looked dangerous. Then, the octopus came out to help her. He stood in front of the huge fish, and before the fish could do anything, the octopus had shot out the jet of ink on the huge fish. He, then, quickly grabbed the little fish and swam off. Soon, the whole body of the huge fish started itching because the dark ink issued forth had given her a terrible allergy and she went off. As soon as she went away, all the fish who had been hiding came out including the little fish and the octopus. The little fish was very thankful to the octopus for saving her life. Everyone was happy and congratulated the octopus for being so brave. They all wanted to make friends with a brave and helpful octopus.
