A little boy and his grandmother came to see Santa. The boy showed a picture of his sister Dina. The grandmother said, “She is sick. Is there any way, Santa, that you could come to see her?” So, Santa went to see her in the hospital. The room was full of her family. Santa entered the room, bellowing a hearty, “Ho, Ho, Ho!” “Santa!” shrieked little Dina, weakly. Santa rushed to her side and gave her a warm hug. He and Dina began talking. Santa prayed for her and her family. Then, he went away. A year later, Santa was back. Suddenly someone said, “Hi, Santa! Do you remember me? You came to see me in the hospital last year!” Santa’s jaw dropped. “Dina!” he exclaimed. He scarcely recognized her. She was much different from the little girl he had visited just a year before. That was the best Christmas ever for Santa Claus.
