We must immediately grab the opportunities on our way, just as we ‘strike the iron, while it’s hot’. If we don’t seize the opportunities then we end up losing them.
Just take an example of Miss Mala. She is a versatile artist and an active participant of stage dramas. One day a director of T.V. serials came to her and asked her if she was interested in portraying the role of a sportstar in a T.V. serial based on her.
She flatly refused to do the role of the sportstar due to her pride in herself. She said that she was not interested in portraying the role of a sportstar, instead she wanted to act in a film and be the leading heroine in it.
She had joined stage to switch over to films not the T.V. serials.
The T.V. serial director went away and signed another actress for the role. The serial became super-duper hit and earned accolades all around the country. The T.V. actress became famous overnight, but Miss Mala remained where she was, as she didn’t seize the opportunity coming on her way.
A person must seize the opportunities immediately, lest he loses them and doesn’t attain success as per his abilities.
