A tree-ghost had started bothering Sheikh, making him lose whatever small jobs he was getting. One day, as Sheikh was sitting sadly near the market square, a man walked up to him. He asked, “Why do you look so sad?” Sheikh said he was in need of a job. The man gave Sheikh the keys to his shop and told him to clean his shop for him. As Sheikh unlocked the shop and started cleaning, the actual shop owner came and hit Sheikh, asking him what he was doing in the shop. The earlier person was the ghost impersonating the owner! The enraged shop owner threatened to call the police and poor Sheikh ran away yet again! He then besieged Allah to help him. The ghost appeared before him, in human form. He told Sheikh why he was troubling him. Sheikh was very sorry about cutting down his tree, and promised never to harm any tree any more.
