Once, Sheikh Chilli and Fawzia attended a rich merchant’s birthday party. They wore borrowed royal garments and rode a borrowed carriage for the party. They received a great welcome. Everyone complimented them on their fine clothes. After some time, Sheikh and Fawzia started enjoying the delicious food. Some people from the royal court were also present in the party. They recognised the royal clothes and started telling other guests. Soon, everyone started making fun of Sheikh and his false pride. Sheikh realised that something was wrong. He rushed towards the room where all the women were seated. He called Fawzia out and they both quietly left the party. Fawzia looked very sad; Sheikh promised her that he would never repeat such a mistake again.
