Robert Oppenheimer

Robert-Oppenheimer

Julius Robert Oppenheimer was born on the 22nd of April 1904 in New York City, New York, U.S., and passed away on 18th February, 1967.

Do you know that Oppenheimer was an extremely bright student? He completed the third and fourth grades in one year and the eighth grade in half a year.

A theoretical physicist, Oppenheimer was primarily a professor of physics at UC, Berkeley. Known as the Father of the Atomic Bomb, Oppenheimer was part of the Manhattan project that developed the atomic weapons during World War-II. No matter his contributions in the field of physics, he unfortunately became one of the most detested men in history for his naivety in believing that scientists could control the outcome of their work.

Famous Quote: “I have become death, the destroyer of worlds.”
