Rinoa Becomes Obedient

The cuckoos were moving out of their shelter and had asked all their babies to stay together and not stray. The youngest cuckoo, Rinoa, was adventurous. She used to look all around while flying. She would swoop over flowers and chatter with other birds. Mama Cuckoo warned Rinoa to stay with them, but when they flew off, Rinoa saw a stream and stopped to drink water. Then she flew to a flower in order to speak to a butterfly. By then, the other cuckoos had flown far off. Soon, Rinoa realised that she was lost. She searched, but could not find her parents. Losing hope, she cried, wishing she had listened to her parents. Pulling herself together, she started flying and calling out to her parents. A parrot family saw the lost cuckoo and tried to help her by calling out with her. Soon, they found Rinoa’s family. Rinoa hugged her parents and apologised for being disobedient. She then thanked the parrot family for their help.
