The Government has started many innovative retirement plans for the welfare of the high-middle class families and rich people, but has it introduced any good scheme for the poor?
The answer is outright ‘No’. There is no retirement plan meant to give some relief to the poor people in their old-age. All the retirement plans are introduced for the welfare of wealthy people, not to improve the sociol-economic condition of the poor people.
Only a rich man could lead a decent life after the retirement, not a poor man. Wealthy man could make crores of rupees through this plan, as the return of investment is 9% per annum and inflation rate is 5% uniformly, thus, a person whose income is more than Rs. 25,000 a month, and he deposits more than 10,000 at the age of 30 till he turns 60, he would have already made 2-3 crores in the bank.
It is not right to snatch the rights of the poor people, and give too much comfort to the wealthy ones. It is the right of the poor too to enjoy the privileges given to the rich people. They are also human beings and are in more need then them, thus the government must introduce some retirement schemes for uplifting the status of the poor workers, employees, and labourers.
