A witch took a baby-girl from her neighbours and brought her up locked in a high tower with no stairs! Rapunzel grew into a beautiful girl with very long golden hair. The witch would ask her to let down her hair and would climb up using it as a rope. Rapunzel was lonely and would spend time singing. One day, a prince came riding by and stopped, hearing her sweet song. He saw the witch calling Rapunzel and climbing up a golden rope. Later when she went away, the prince called Rapunzel and she let down her hair. He climbed up. Rapunzel and the prince fell in love with each other. They were escaping when the witch caught them. She threw the prince into thorns and he was blinded and she cut off Rapunzel’s hair! But Rapunzel searched and found the prince and helped to get back his sight! And then they were happy.
