Ramalinga Humiliates Rama Raja Bhushana

Ramalinga Humiliates Rama Raja Bhushana

One day the king asked romantic poet Rama Raja Bhushana to frame a stanza on beauty of  women.

He immediately composed a beautiful verse, impressing the king who gave him 1,000 coins.

On seeing this Tenali said that the poem was bought from Nandi Thimmana for 1,000 coins, so he asked the king to pay him more to make some profit. Some days later when Rama Raja Bhushana was passing through Nandi Thimmana’s house along with his disciple he heard Tenali discussing some-thing.

He loudly made a poem describing the session as an assembly of pigs gathered near threshold of Nandi Thimmana. On hearing this, Tenali picked up the same tone and shouted back that the discussion was a gathering of pigs, only for those who composed prose and poetry full of nonsense, stupid language and silly issues. Rama Raja Bhushana got the cue and left the place.
