Trees and plants are physically, spiritually and aesthetically related to us deeply. They remain part of our lives from crad to coffin or funeral pyre.
The forests provide shelter, fruits, food, fodder, wood, medicines, timber and oxygen to name a few. The trees check soil erosion, floods and pollution besides creating lovely scenes. The forest cover halts the spread of deserts and landslides. It maintains ecological balance and preserves diverse wild life. Planting trees is our duty to ourselves and needs to be made a mass movement to save the earth and bio diversity. Plant and protect trees as your sacred religious custom. Plant wherever you find barren space. The trees will add beauty to our lives and upgrade our living. Remember that the green is life and it helps our lives remain ever green. Plant trees to save the environment we live in.
