Richard took a bundle and a goat and set off to make his fortune in the world. He had nowhere to go. But as he walked along, he met an old man who told him about a treasure on an island, and offered to go with him. Richard took him along in a boat and when they reached the island, he found it empty! “Let your goat roam around,” said the old man. They followed the goat to a cave. Inside the cave there was a beautiful jar of silver. When Richard touched it, a fairy flew out and asked, “What do you wish for?” “I came to seek my fortune,” replied Richard. “If I give you a fortune, will you marry me?” asked the fairy. Richard agreed. When Richard married the fairy, a sudden change came over the island! There was a palace and the old man was a king! The fairy was Princess Emilia!
