My Family (Common)

I belong to a middle-class family. We are two brothers and one sister. We live in our own house in Saket. My grand father, aged seventy, is the head of our family. We have good relations with our neighbours.
My grand-father is a retired sub-inspector of police. He is a pensioner. He tells us many stories of his encounters with robbers and thieves. He tells us that things were very cheap in the good old days. He is healthy and strong in spite of his old age. He spends 3-4 hours reading the Urdu newspaper.
My father is a doctor. He is an MBBS. His life is very busy. He is fond of gardening. He spends one hour daily in our lawn. He takes us to the cinema on Sundays or other holidays. I love my father. He is very kind and liberal.
My mother manages the house. She plans the family budget. She is not very modern. She goes to the temple early in the morning. She is a vegetarian and observes a fast on every Monday.
Among my brother and sister I am the eldest. I am a student of eleventh class. I am good at studies. My father loves me very much. I love my younger brother and sister and help them in their studies.
We all three play may types of indoor and outdoor games. Sometimes my mother also joins us. We also have a puppy named ‘Jack’. He is a big lebrador, but he is furious only to the unknowns. In all I have a happy family to live with.
