India is my motherland. It is my country. It is one of the most popular countries of the world. India is a land of many religions. The most important religions include Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism, Sikhism, Christianity and Islam. All the holy books teach us to love one-another. There are magnificent mountains, entertainment parks, forests and wildlife sanctuaries in India. Some of the hill-stations are Ranikhet, Nainital, Pachmarhi, Mussoorie and Darjeeling. Jama Masjid is the largest mosque in India. The largest lake of India is Wular Lake. It is situated in Kashmir. The largest zoo is zoological gardens situated in Kolkata. A place called Bodh Gaya is situated in Bihar. It is famous as the place where Lord Buddha got the vision of God. India is the land of great writers, scientists, actors and social workers.
Rabindra Nath Tagore was the first writer to get Nobel Prize in literature and Mother Teresa was the first Indian to get Nobel Prize for peace.
India is a wonderful country. I love my country India from the core of my heart.
