“Mr Huff’s niece, Lisa, is extraordinarily beautiful,” said Mrs Norris, knitting socks. “Yes,” agreed Mrs Fennel. “She will make a wonderful princess,” Mrs Norris suggested. “What?” exclaimed Mrs Fennel, “She’s the miller’s daughter!” “Let us see if we can make a match!” said Mrs Norris. Prince George often stopped at the inn to rest. That evening, when he was returning from a hunt, Mrs Norris sent Lisa to fetch some wool from the innkeeper’s wife. Prince George saw her and was charmed with her beauty. He began to come regularly and for the next two days Mrs Norris kept sending Lisa on errands to the inn. One day, she did not send her. The prince came looking for Lisa and found her with Mrs Norris, baking a cake. He asked for her hand in marriage and Mrs Norris persuaded Mr Huff to agree! What a wonderful time she and Mrs Fennel had at their wedding!
