Misty was a lovely little fairy who lived in a buttercup. Her favourite colour was golden yellow. The Fairy Prince happened to see Misty and fell in love with her, but he did not know how to win her for his bride. He asked the ladybirds and the butterflies but none could help him. One day, he found the old snail who lived near the buttercup. “Do you know the Buttercup Fairy?” asked the Fairy Prince. “Misty? She’s a very sweet fairy!” said the snail, adjusting his spectacles. “Would you introduce me to her?” the Fairy Prince asked. “Do you have a yellow dress?” the snail wished to know. “Oh, yes! Why?” asked the Fairy Prince. “Wear it and come,” advised the snail. The next morning, the snail introduced the Fairy Prince, in a golden coat, to Misty. She promptly fell in love with him! Their wedding was celebrated with a lot of joy and golden streamers!
