For admission in M.C.A. one should be at least a graduate. Preference is given to those students who have passed out their 10+2 with maths as one of the subject. A minimum 50% marks are required in graduation. For admission in B.C.A., one should be 12th pass with a minimum 50% marks. Most of the institutes select students through entrance examinations. Questions are related to maths, reasoning, computer, basics and english. In most of the institutions, entrance examinations are more or less similar. Applicant interested in M.C.A. has to appear in separate exam of maths. After written exam candidates are invited for an interview. Candidates who pass both the written exam as well as the interviews, are finally selected.
