Winter was approaching. Sheikh Chilli’s mother asked him to get two quilts from the market. Sheikh went to the market and bought the quilts. On his way back, he was feeling very tired so he kept the quilts on the back of his donkey. After a while, his friend Lallan saw him. He asked Sheikh, “You look so tired. Why don’t you sit on your donkey?” Sheikh agreed and sat on his donkey. A passer-by saw Sheikh riding the donkey with the load. He shouted out, “Oh boy! How cruel of you! You have overloaded that poor donkey.” Sheikh got scared and immediately got down from the donkey. He also kept the quilts on his own head. Exhausted Sheikh reached home. He told everything to his mother. Listening this, his mother smiled and said, “Oh my innocent son, it was good that you got down from the donkey, but why did you put the quilts on your head?” And saying so, she laughed aloud.
