Jelly was the naughtiest chick in the farm. He never used to listen to anyone. His mother used to say, “Jelly, stay with your brothers and sisters. And don’t go near that well!” However, Jelly was very curious to see what was so special about the well. One day, when Jelly’s mother was not around, he went up to the well. His sisters screamed, “Jelly, mother told you to stay away from the well.” However, he did not listen to them. He saw another chick at the bottom of the well and decided to play with him. So, he dived into the well and fell with a splash into the water. Jelly started screaming for help but his sisters were helpless. Just as he was about to be drowned, his mother threw some worm-tied rope down for him to grab it. Jelly was pulled out of the well, and he promised to listen to his mother from then on.
