No one in the kingdom believed Prince Lionel. He would keep telling all kinds of stories. Finally, old Mrs Wilson put a spell on him, “Every time you tell lies, Prince Lionel, your nose will turn a bright blue!” But Lionel only laughed because he thought no one dared to put a spell on him. The next morning, Lionel told everyone that a wicked wizard had come into the palace in the night. The wizard was going to destroy the palace and make prisoners out of all the people. Immediately, his nose turned blue! He was horrified. The doctors couldn’t find out any illness. Finally when he told them the truth, the blue colour vanished! Lionel was terribly ashamed. The king told him very sternly that he should never again tell lies! He sent Prince Lionel off to a school saying, “You have good brains. Use it for something sensible!”
