Lilie liked to visit her cousin Marie’s house on weekends. Marie had a bottle of scent that had a pleasant smell. Lilie liked it very much but never asked Marie whether she could use that scent. One day, when Lilie was alone in the room, she thought of applying a few drops of the scent on her handkerchief. But the moment she used the scent, her heart was filled with a sense of guilt. She thought she should not have used it without Marie’s consent. So she left Marie’s house, immediately. But while leaving Marie’s house in a hurry, she forgot to take her handkerchief. The next day, Marie called Lilie and told her that she had forgotten her handkerchief at her place. Marie did not mention anything about the scent. This thing bothered Lilie a lot and she confessed to Marie about using her scent. Lilie learnt that one should never use anyone else’s stuff without asking.
