A trained librarian is serious about the need of the teachers and availability of books. A librarian’s work is not only to check the account from time to time but it is his responsibility to maintain the discipline inside the library. A different video section has also been established in various libraries because it is the librarian’s responsibility to take care of video cassettes, compact discs, slides, TPs and other modern educational aids along with the books. This is the reason why librarian is given a special respect and honour in western countries.
